QuestionWhere can I find the Bank's balance sheet and statement of income?

Answer

The Bank's financial statements are available at The Bank's Accounts. For financial statements for the first half of the fiscal year, see the Financial Statements for the First Half of the XXXth Fiscal Year/Fiscal YYYY (April 1-September 30, YYYY) and for those for the full fiscal year, the Financial Statements for the XXXth Fiscal Year/Fiscal YYYY.

The Bank also releases Bank of Japan Accounts, which show the situation of the Bank's balance sheet every ten days, indicating the outstanding amount of principal items in assets as well as liabilities and net assets.

These documents (Japanese only) are available to the public for perusal at the Bank's Head Office and branches.
