Release of the "Review of the Asian Bond Fund 2 Initiative" by the EMEAP Working Group on Financial Markets

The Bank would like to announce that the EMEAP1 (Executives' Meeting of East Asia-Pacific Central
Banks) Working Group on Financial Markets released today a report titled "Review
of the Asian Bond Fund 2 Initiative."
The purposes of the review
are to assess to what extent the objectives of the initiative have been met, to
document the issues encountered and lessons learnt during the exercise, and to
identify further work that needs to be done to develop Asian bond markets.
