Release of the "The Bank of Japan Policy on Oversight of Financial Market Infrastructures"

Today, the Policy Board of the Bank of Japan adopted and released the "The Bank of Japan Policy on Oversight of Financial Market Infrastructures" [PDF 130KB]. The policy will be in effect on April 1, 2013.1

1 The current oversight policies, the "Policy on Oversight of Payment and Settlement Systems" and the "Policy on Oversight of Offshore Yen Payment Systems", will be abolished on the same day.
