Financial Literacy Survey 2016

The Central Council for Financial Services Information (Secretariat: Public Relations Department, Bank of Japan) released an English translation of the results of the Financial Literacy Survey 2016. The Japanese original was released on June 17, 2016.

It is Japan's first large-scale survey conducted with the aim of understanding the current state of financial literacy, i.e., financial knowledge and financial decision-making skills, of individuals aged 18 and over in Japan.
