Outline of the Center for Advanced Financial Technology (CAFT)

The Bank established Center for Advanced Financial Technology (CAFT) within the Financial System and Bank Examination Department in July 2005, with an aim to further improve risk management methods and to upgrade business management techniques at financial institutions. The Center publishes findings of its research and organizes seminars, and serves as a third channel through which the Bank can communicate with financial institutions, in addition to on-site examinations and off-site monitoring. The Center also provides staff training and development relating to the Department's business operations.
