"The Bank of Japan's Transactions with the Government"

The Bank of Japan announced today that it started releasing the statistics "The Bank of Japan's Transactions with the Government" on a monthly basis with the view to enhancing the transparency of the Bank's operations by giving an overview of various transactions the Bank conducts with the government.

An outline of the Bank's various transactions with the government and an explanation of the basic framework of the statistics are available in Japanese in a separate release.
