Release Schedule of the "2000 base Input-Output Price Index of Manufacturing Industry by Sector (IOPI)"

The revision of the Input-Output Price Index of Manufacturing Industry by Sector (IOPI), from the 1995 base to the 2000 base, is now in progress. The index on the new basis is scheduled to be released at the end of 2005. There will be no significant changes in the statistical content and the published material accompanied by this revision. In the 2000 base index, however, all the indexes will be compiled excluding consumption tax, while in the 1995 base index, the Input Price Index (both Domestic Goods and Imports) and Domestic Goods of the Output Price Index have been compiled including consumption tax.
