From the 20th of March 2008 until a Governor is appointed, Mr. Masaaki Shirakawa, who will be appointed as one of the two Deputy Governors on the 20th of March 2008, will perform the duties of the Governor.

Mr. Kiyohiko G. Nishimura, who will be appointed as the other Deputy Governor on the 20th of March 2008, shall assume the duties of the Governor when Mr. Shirakawa is prevented from attending to his duties.
