Change in the annual revision schedule of the Flow of Funds AccountsMarch 15, 2005 Bank of Japan Research and Statistics Department The first preliminary data for the Flow of Funds Accounts are revised at the following quarter. They also undergo annual revision to reflect more detailed source data. The Bank will change the schedule for annual revision of Flow of Funds Accounts. In the past, the Bank had carried out annual revisions every September. From now on, it will switch the schedule to March, when the most of the source data in the previous fiscal year become available. As a result of the change, revised data for the previous fiscal year will be reflected earlier by 6 month compared to the present revision schedule. Also, the release schedule for March will be altered from the current eleventh business day to late March from next year.
