Notice on "Average Contract Interest Rates on Loans and Discounts"

Of the data in "Average Contract Interest Rates on Loans and Discounts," regarding the items below, figures for May 2011 onward have been retroactively revised and posted on "BOJ Time-Series Data Search." Please keep in mind that there is discontinuity between figures through April 2011 and those thereafter.

The aforementioned revision has been made to deal with the discontinuity referred to in the notice on December 12, 2014.

  • New Loans and Discounts
    • Short-term (domestically licensed banks)
    • Long-term (domestically licensed banks)
    • Total (domestically licensed banks)

Data on all other items in the statistics (including those by type of bank, namely, city banks, regional banks, regional banks II, and shinkin banks) are unaffected by this revision.
