At the time of its establishment, the Bank had only fifty-five
employees and operated in a leased building by the Eitai-bridge
(currently Nihonbashi-hakozaki cho), a short distance from
the present location (Nihonbashi-hongoku cho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo).
