Earthquake off the Coast of Miyagi Prefecture

On April 7, at around 11:32 p.m., an aftershock of a maximum scale of over 6 occurred, whose seismic center was off the coast of Miyagi Prefecture. At the Bank of Japan, business operations are carried out as usual at its Head Office as well as all of its branches and local offices, including those located in the Tohoku region. The BOJ-NET is functioning properly.
