Passing of Former Governor Yasushi Mieno

Former Governor Yasushi Mieno passed away in Tokyo on April 15, 2012 at the age of 88.  He was Governor of the Bank of Japan from 1989 to 1994.

A memorial service for Mr. Mieno will be held at a date to be announced later.
