Bank of Japan is deeply saddened to announce that Mr. Yasushi Mieno, Former Governor, passed away on April 15, 2012.  To commemorate the life and work of Mr. Mieno, the Bank will hold a memorial service for him

on Monday, June 11, 2012, from 14:00 to 15:00,
