Changes in the format of "Sources of Changes in Current Account Balances at the Bank of Japan and Market Operations (Preliminary Figures)"

The bank will discontinue the annual aggregated figures which have been included in the "Sources of Changes in Current Account Balances at the Bank of Japan and Market Operations (Preliminary Figures)" published on the final working day every December.

The annual aggregated figures for the current year can be calculated by adding the preliminary figures for December to the sums of the final figures for January to November.  The annual aggregated figures for the previous year can be calculated by adding up the monthly final figures from January to December.

The final figures for the individual items in the "Sources of Changes in Current Account Balances at the Bank of Japan and Market Operations" are available as long-term time-series data on the BOJ's web site (see "Sources of Changes in Current Account Balances at the Bank of Japan and Market Operations (Final Figures)").
