Changes to "Payment and Settlement Statistics"

With the implementation of Phase 2 of the next generation RTGS (RTGS-XG) project of the BOJ-NET Funds Transfer System [PDF 9KB], the Bank of Japan will make the following changes to "Payment and Settlement Statistics," starting from the release of figures for November 2011.

1. A-1. Settlement via BOJ Current Accounts
   The sub-item, "Large-value Transactions in the Zengin System", is to be created under the item "Funds Transfers"
2. B-2. Zengin System
   New tables, "Small-value Transactions in the Zengin System" and "Large-value Transactions in the Zengin System" will be added under "Zengin System".
