The market value of the total position was estimated using information on listed enterprises.
For details, see "Release of the Market-Value Estimate of the Direct Investment Position" released on May 25, 2007, available on the Bank's web site.
The market values of major listed enterprises are estimated based on their market capitalization using stock market prices. The market values of other enterprises are estimated using enterprises' own funds at book value.1
