Notice on "Principal Figures of Financial Institutions"

The Financial System and Bank Examination Department of the Bank of Japan has decided to revise the list of surveyed financial institutions in "Principal Figures of Financial Institutions," namely, by replacing Citibank Japan with Citibank, N.A., starting with data to be released in May 2017 (figures for April). Accordingly, Citibank, N.A. will be classified under "foreign banks" instead of "other surveyed domestically licensed banks."

This change reflects the transfer of Citibank Japan's business to Citibank, N.A.
