Revision to Reference Figures for Corporate Pensions (Defined Benefit Schemes)

The Bank provides reference figures for fiscal 1993-2003 for the sector "Defined benefit schemes," which is under the sector "Corporate pensions," separately from the data series from fiscal 2004 onward in the Flow of Funds Accounts.

Of these reference figures, the Bank has revised figures for total assets by refining estimation methods, such as through changing source data. The revised figures can be obtained from "Reference Figures for Corporate Pensions (Defined Benefit Schemes) " [XLSX 12KB].
