Changes in the Format of "Sources of Changes in Current Account Balances at the Bank of Japan and Market Operations (Updated every business day)"

The Bank of Japan will change the format of "Sources of Changes in Current Account Balances at the Bank of Japan and Market Operations (Updated every business day)" from October 6, 2025. The details are as follows:

  1. (1) The release format will be changed from HTML to Excel. Additionally, the data file will be written in both Japanese and English, and the same file will be released on the Japanese and English websites.
  2. (2) The names of the items in "BOJ Loans and Market Operations" will be changed as below.
    Table : The names of the items in "BOJ Loans and Market Operations" will be changed as below.

  3. (3) The data will be available at the following URL:

Data prior to the change will remain on the Bank's website in HTML format until the end of the fifth year after their publication. However, only the October 2025 data prior to the change will be retroactively released in Excel format as well.
